Armagh v Fermanagh, Athletic Grounds, Sunday 6.30pm
I love this time of the year as it comes to championship KO! No more backdoors or excuses this is it do or die. The latter can definitely be said about Kiernan McGeeneys' team. They expected to beat Down and this will be another setback for his team lacking in any real confidence. People in Armagh tell me they Armagh just don't have the players but I feel they should getting better results out of the players they currently have. This game for Armagh comes down to confidence and ruthlessness. If they would have taken their goal chances against Down they wouldn't be in this position. Despite Fermanagh getting beat by Donegal in their opener they played well at times and was impressed at some of their defence skills. If they can find more scorers I could see Fermanagh stealing this one. Fermanagh come in here as underdogs in another qualifier and they will relish the challenge. I still rate Pete McGrath as one of the top coaches in GAA and his team will not be short of confidence going into this one. Can Armagh stop the rot and turn a new corner? Home advantage makes Armagh the favourites but this will go to the wire. Fermanagh have all the ingredients for a shock championship win but Armagh need this victory more than Fermanagh, well for McGeeny's future anyway.. Armagh by 1
Verdict: Armagh
Odds: Home: 4/9 - Draw: 15/2 - Away:5/2
Ulster SFC semi-final, Saturday 5pm
Down v Monaghan, Athletic Grounds
This should be a high scoring game, should be a tight game until half time until Monaghan pull away in the second half. Monaghan with one eye on the ulster final can not afford to be complacent in this game as in Ulster anything is possible. Monaghan however should win with at least 5 points to spare.
Verdict: Monaghan
Odds: Home: 7/2 - Draw: 10/1 - Away:2/7
Leinster semi-final, Sunday, 4pm
Dublin v Westmeath, Croke Park
Dublin will absolute destroy Westmeath. The Dubs by at least 11.
Verdict: Dublin
Odds: Home 1/100 Draw: 33/1 - Away:18/1
